1st Zoo Trip

Well finally after 16 months they took me to this zoo they keep talking about. It was a lot of fun and I had a great time. It was a little warm outside but i was a great sport. We saw lots of animals and my favorite was the elephants. We rode the train too. I can't wait to go back. I think mommy and daddy had a good time also. We also went to the Braves game friday night to see the fireworks I made it all the way to the end of the show at like 10 pm, man I am a good kid. Anyways they sure do keep me busy. I don't know what we are gonna do next weekend. Mommy being off work so much is really getting exhausting I think we need to just rest one day!!

Playdate today..

Today we went to Zach's for a play date and had a great time. He has lots of fun outside toys but best of all was his jeep. Mommy let zach drive me all around and I loved it. I couldn't reach the pedal or I would have ngiven driving a try. We all had a great time and I slept a good three hours when we got home. Mommy is so excited we can play outside all the time b/c it wears me out.

What a morning and it all happened in under 2 hours!

Well I got new ears today. After issues with fluid in my ears over the past two months and visit with ENT doctor yesterday we decided on tubes. Not gonna go into all the details but it was more traumatic for mommy than me. I am home now asleep and doing good. (how am i asleep and posting at the same time?) Anyways we are so thankful this was a quick easy process once we got going and now supposedly I am gonna be able to hear and talk better. We'll see. Thabks Gigi and Papa for being there I love you!!

Easter

A few weeks ago at a wedding the preacher was talking about God's love for us and how he gave his only son to die on the cross for our sins. The preacher made a comment about how he had a son and can't imagine a love so great that he would give his son's life to save another. This really hit home with me and once again as Easter came and went it really made me think. God's love for us is that great and so great that at times it almost seems too great to imagine. He gave his only son for us so that we can have eternal life. As I sit and watch Austin sleep I can't imagine the sacrifice he made. Austin is my world and brings me so much joy each day that I can't and don't want to imagine losing him. It is because of God's grace that I am able to have all these wonderful experiences with him and my family. I sit here humbled by the grace of god and rejoice in the rising of jesus christ his only son. I am so thankful for so many things this Easter but of them probably mostly the experiences I get to have with my son here on earth each day. I am so blessed to be able to stay home with him so much and cherish what each day brings. I thank God for the mere opportunity to be a parent and to know a love so great that it is only understood the moment you first look into your child's eyes.

1st annual egg hunt

EAster weekend mommy and daddy. gigi and papa hosted our first annual easter egg hunt. They had about 200 hundred eggs stuffed with candy and toys. Seven of my friends came over and we quickly snatched them up. It was alot of fun and thanks to everyone who came. Can't wait til next year. Any ways as you can see above mommy didn't "hide" them very well.

Pump it up

Any mommy's out there looking for something to do Pump it Up on Old Fanin Rd is great. They have open play mon and thurs 9-11. We took austin and two buds a couple weeks ago and they had a blast and so did us mommies. Anyways here are a few pictures.

Catchin Up Again!

Well once again mommy has fallen behind on the bloggin. But things around the house have been crazy!! We have had two weddings in a row and then Easter. It has been hard to keep up. Anyways we have been good. I went for my 15 month checkup a week ago and I am growing like a weed. We also found out I had fluid behind my ears again so they are taking me to some ENT doctor (doesn't sound fun) this week. But other than that I am great. We start Maley's swim school in two weeks with my buds zach and Hayes. The weather is great and my sweet mommy spends alot of time outside with me. We have tried everypark in the area. Anyways here are some pics from all the fun. Above is me eating some cookies at mamaw's, we went for yet another wedding was in.

These are two of mommy's bestest friends in the whole world. Aunt Karla and Aunt Missy!! Aunt Karla was getting married. Not sure what that is all about but I got to get dressed up and eat cake and dance!! (Sorry no pics at the wedding b/c mommy was too busy dancing and forgot the camera!)

My mommy and daddy! Need I say more - although that doesn't look like my mommy b/c she usually has her hair in a ponytail and is chasing me around in her jammies b/c I scream and throw things in the bathtub and turn the water on if she tries to get in the shower while I am home. That is how her cellphone got a bath a few months ago!

Oh and by the way go by my dady's new nursery (plants not kids). It's grand opening was a few weeks ago. We are so proud. I love it b/c I get to go hang out and play. Anyways that is a little of what we have been up to.
