Well as you can tell I am trying drastically to catch this blog up so here is a quick wrap up of all the fun we have had so far in 2011. It has been a great year and to think the BEST is yet to come. I am so excited!!! Hope u enjoy!!!

JANUARY
THE SUPERHERO CRAZE CONTINUES......

FEBRUARY
We had a great february with lots of valentines fun and playing outside and the annual dixie national rodeo!!! This is also the month we found out Baby Sanders #2 was on his way!!! Such an exciting time and we have been anxiously awaiting his arrival ever since!!! It seems like I have been pregger FOREVER!!!!!

MARCH
This month my brother got married and so austin got to take his first airplane ride to Oklahoma City and be the ring bearer!! He did amazing and I couldn't have been more proud of him!!! The whole weekend was alot of fun and we are glad to welcome Jan to our crazy family!!!

APRIL
Okay so April was quite a busy month!! We had lots of fun just being outside since the weather finally got pretty. We headed to the zoo early on in April with his best bud Ray!! We also hit Kidsfest in Ridgeland where Austin got his first "tattoo"!! He was so proud!! We hit just about every Easter egg hunt around and hosted our own little Easter egg hunt here at our house with friends!! Easter was great and he got an overflowing basket full of superhero madness!! As you can tell the superhero obsession is still in full swing over here!!

MAY
We kicked off the summer with finding out the sex of Sanders Baby #2!!! We did a reveal with a cake and the inside was either pink or blue!!! It was a lot of fun!! We also headed to the beach with friends the first week of May and had a blast. It just keeps getting more and more fun each year with Austin!! He also started TBALL and Corey coached his team. It was so much fun to watch and they all did great. Other than sports we pretty much spent the summer at the neighborhood pool!! By the end of the summer we had a pro swimmer on our hands!!!

JUNE
June was definitely a hot one and we were pretty much outside the whole month!!! From Braves games and tball to the pool. Tball was quick and fun and we ended the season with a fun party at Cici Pizza!! Austin got his second trophy and was very excited to add it to his room!!! Its hard to believe our summers filled with sports has already started!!!

JULY
Another HOT month and we pretty much once again lived outside. Austin caught his first lizard and named him Lenny! Unfortunatley he didn't stay with us too long!! Austin LOVES to ride his bike and I have been a trooper being pregger through this HOT summer. We have had a lot of FUN and can't believe next summer we will have two little boys running around!!!!

AUGUST
Well the big thing that happened this month was Austin started pre - 3k at pinelake!!! He absolutely loves going to school!! It is amazing how much he has changed over the past year since we have put him in mother's morning out and now pre- k. We have never once had to fight him to go and he was ready to go his first day!!! We also hit our usuals pump it up and chuck e cheese the week before school started!! Finally we headed to the circus at the end of August with my parents for a little family fun!!!

SEPTEMBER
And finally that brings us to the present!!! This month we are just enjoying our last few weeks as a family of three. Jackson Lane Sanders will be here in two weeks and we can't wait, but it is also bittersweet that it won't just be the three of us anymore. Austin is SO ready to be a big brother and I can't wait to see them together. We have been savoring every moment with Austin and I find myself amazed and the big boy that has literally grown up in the blink of an eye. I am so blessed to be his mom and can't wait to be the mommy of two sweet boys!! Hopefully my next post will introduce Jackson and hopefully it won't take me as long to post as this one!!!

Austin's 3rd Birthday!!!

Well I have SO much catching up to do so gonna have to condense the pics alittle bit, but here is Austin's awesome superhero third birthday party. This is the first year he has really been into something and so I went all out. We had a superhero extravaganza!! He LOVED it!!! We rented a jump thing, I had capes with their initials on them to decorate, and a Batman pinata!! Gonna be hard to top next year. We are so thankful to all the friends and family that came and helped out, it was such a great party!!! Hope u enjoy the pics, birthdays are one thing I will always go a little nuts over it is so fun to celebrate a day just for Austin!!!!

Since we had his party early we took him for another small party on his real birthday at Chuck e Cheese. We also headed out to Canton to see the lights that night. We have started the tradition of going every year on his birthday!!

December Fun 2010 and Christmas!!

Well I am WAY behind on posting so some of these are just gonna be short and sweet but since december was such a fun month I am gonna try to include a pic of all the fun stuff. All the things that surround christmas are SO much more fun and magical when u share them with a child and at this age everything is just amazing. The joy and excitement in austin's eyes makes every long line I stood in or detail i stressed over it so worth it. We of course hit every christmas parade possible, enjoyed a little snow, saw Santa several times, celebrated Austin's 3rd birthday and enjoyed a wonderful christmas with family!! Okay so I was really busy this month obviously with Austin's 3rd bday planning, christmas shopping, christmas decorating, and working because I didn't take hardly any pictures this month which is really unlike me!!! I usually take at least a few pics a day!! Austin will pretty much one day be able to look back and see basically every day of his life!! But this month there was a few random pics but mostly just the pics of zoo day!! Me and my mom went with Austin's best bud and his mom and grandma to the zoo before it turned cold and they had a blast!! So below are the pics from that day. Halloween Fun 2010

So I am desperately trying to catch up on my blogging but just can't seem to find the time!! So on top of all the fun we had in October we also had Austin's third halloween. Holidays just keep getting more and more excititng with each year!! We had a blast this year! We went to the pumpkin patch one sat before heading to a state game and he had a blast. Last year we ended up not getting to go b/c it was such a rainy october but we weren't missing out this year!! Also we had our little playgroup over for some pumpkin painting. It was so much fun!! And finally what was Austin for trick or treating? A superhero of course!! He had superman, batman, and ironman to choose from but he decided on batman halloween night!! We really enjoyed trick or treating in our new neighborhood.... very family friendly and TONS of kids!! Anyways hope u enjoy the pics and maybe I will get up to date on here soon!!!

So October has been a busy month with all the fun fall activities to do this year with a toddler. I actually am gonna split this post and do one for just halloween stuff b/c we have done so much!! Anyways October has been filled with fall carnivals, the fair, more football, and lots of days just playing outside in the fall weather. We have had such a great time so far and we are really looking forward to the holidays with Austin. He is just SO much fun at this age and so easy too!! Oh and another big thing this month is Corey turned the big 30. We took a quick trip to memphis with friends and had a great time. Happy Birthday Corey!! So september seems to have flown by and as always in Mississippi it still kinda felt like summer. The big thing for september was the start of FOOTBALL season. So far we have made it to most home games and austin enjoys every minute of them. This month we even took him tailgating before and he had a blast. Hope u enjoy the pics!!

Okay so being a good blogger is def something I haven't been keeping up with so I am gonna do a few quick posts by months since I realized I haven't posted anything since july. We have seettled into our new house and been having a blast with Austin. We stay busy and feel like sitting down to update the blog is something I dont have much time for but I am gonna try to get better esp for Gigi and Papa Lou! We are LOVING our new house it is funny how well austin has adjusted he LOVES it. He never wants to leave now he just has so much room to play!! He has also started "preschool" at pinelake just two days a week and LOVES it. So much change has happened over the past months and he just keeps on going!! He is such a good "big boy"!

So excited about going to his first day at school!! He did great!!

Doing what he does best playing. His imagination has just taken off he loves to make believe play and it is the cutest thing in the world to listen to!!

Finished his swim lessons and finally graduated to the big pool. He did so good and can actually jump in and swim to the side!!

We went bowling this month and austin had a blast. He could actually roll the ball all by himself, it just took a few minutes to get to the end. Here is Corey helping him out!

Okay so things have been so busy at our house/ apartment and I just haven't been posting like I should. I am just gonna post a ton of pics to sum up what we have been doing over the past month and a half.... oh and on a side note we should be moving into the new house in about two weeks! We are so excited. I will post pics when it is all done!!!

In June we headed to jellystone one saturday for some fun at the splash pad!!

He absolutely loves being outside and it is SO hot this summer we half to be around water whenever we are outside!!

Loving Life!

Well we have had a very busy start to our summer but it has all been great! A couple of weeks ago we moved out of our home and into an apartment. We should be here about three months while our new house is getting finished!! We are finally settled and really enjoying it since we have the pool right next to us. Austin is having a blast and LOVES going out to the new house. As soon as we pull in the new neighborhood he gets excited to see his "new house". He has adjusted great!! We have spent a lot of time swimming and just hanging out and loving every minute of it. It is hard to believe this year is already half way done! It is going by too fast!! We cant wait to get in the new neighborhood there at least fifteen kids on our cul de sac alone.... austin is gonna have a ton of playmates!! He also starts school in August at Pinelake and this should be quite interesting, but he loves going there every sunday for church. We will see though how he likes it when he has to say more than an hour!! But other than that we are just enjoying some down time now that the first big move is over. We sold our house to a great couple and have really been pleased witht he whole process, and of course we couldn't have done it without Gigi and Papa. Anyways here are some pics of what we have been up to over the past month since my last post. Hope u enjoy!!!

So sad here is the nursery all undecorated and ready to go.... the only thing left is a toddler that was once an infant for whom so much time was dedicated to getting his room just right!!

Of course we also had to go see the new Shrek movie this month (he has actually seen it twice). He absolutley LOVES shrek and so we were excited when we finally found Shrek toys and Mcdonalds had Shrek happy meals. Life has been pretty green around here!!

Okay so I haven't been keeping up with my blog quite as well as I used to but we have been so busy!!! We are moving into an apartment in two weeks and our new house is making GREAT progress. We are getting so excited about all this year is going to bring but with all the changes means we are busy, busy, busy. We have been packing up our house which is jammed FULL of stuff, and that is an ordeal in itself not to mention working and keeping up with Austin. One of my best friends also got married last week and we have been really busy with that too but it was so much fun. We have also been just enjoying life and this beautiful weather. Austin has been out on the boat a few times and we hit a mini splash pad with friends the other day. We are SO ready for summer!!! HE also started big boy swimming lessons at MAley's. This is his first year there where I don't swim with him. So bittersweet, it is amazing how fast he is growing up!! We are pretty much potty trained and I am so proud of him he has done GREAT!!! He is so excited about the new house everytime we pull in he says "my house" it is just precious. Anyways I am going to post several pics over the past couple of weeks I hope you enjoy!!
I also want to say happy mother's day to all my mom friends out there it is you that has at times helped me realize that being a mom isn't always easy but is definitely always worth it =). I also want to thank the most wonderful and loving mom in the world.... MY MOM!!! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY!!! I am so happy my mom joined us at our new church this morning partly b/c the message was amazing and also b/c there is no part of my life that I dont look for my moms approval. She is such an amazing mom and the reason I am the person and mother I am today. She is my best friend and the absolute best Gigi in the world. WE LOVE YOU and hope u enjoy the pics!!!

Easter and a good surprise =)....

Well Easter came quick this year and feels like it snuck up on us and then like that it was gone. I had to work this Easter and as sad as it was I wash more thankful to have a happy healthy child that didn't have to spend his Easter in the hospital like all the children I was there to take care of. Anyways since I knew I had to work we spent the weekend and week before at every possible Easter egg hunt I could find to take him to. Saturday night we dyed eggs at home after I got off work and then Sunday he got his Easter basket after I got home. It was another great time with my wonderful family. We have been soaking up the sunshine on these beautiful days and looking forward to the summer. We also have some very exciting news..... WE ARE MOVING!!!!! We sold our house and move into an apartment May 21st then hopefully in September our new house will be ready. We are so excited and a little overwhelmed but my wonderful parents are helping us get through it all. Anyways I hope you enjoy some of the pics from Easter. This year is just hopping along... ha ha.... kinda cheesy I know!!!

Baseball Season is FINALLY here...

SO baseball season is finally here and to say Austin is excited is an understatement. We play baseball EVERYDAY!!!!! We have been to different things in Pearl around trustmark park and everytime he screams for baseball even thought there is no game at the stadium. So tonight we took austin to the MSU vs. Ole Miss game there and he was SO excited. He watched most of the game, held up the bat and tried to hit any pop flies that might come our way, and he of course screamed baseball about a thousand times. We are so ready for T-ball even thought he doesn't even need the t anymore u can throw it and he hits it most of the time. Anyways here are a few pics and thanks Papa Lou and Ms. Pam for getting us the tickets at the last minute the seats were great =)!!

SO EXCITED AT THE GAME... this is a braves bat though don't think we got him an ole miss bat we would never be that desperate... ha ha j/k!!

Okay so things have been really busy around here, especially with all the pretty weather I think we have moved outside permanently. Anyways we are having so much fun. Austin is such a blessing and makes me smile all day every minute I am with him. He is absolutley and totally OBSESSED with sports especially baseball so we are playing it outside ALOT. We have also started on our new house YAY it should be done around August. We are in the process of selling ours which it is not that easy keeping a house clean ALL the time with a two year old =)! We are also getting ready for my friend Missy's wedding shower this week, and had bunco last week. So with everything going on I find it hard to blog as much. So, here is basically just a bunch of pics of all we have been up to since the last post!! Hope u enjoy looking at them as much as I do! I just love my little man more than anywords could ever express and feel like I am always snapping pics but I truly want to look back and remember every second!

February Snow Day!!

Well we made it throught the great snow of 2010!! Austin had a great time playing in the snow the past two days!!! Here are a few pics of the fun we had!! Have to say though I am still glad I live in the south and see snow RARELY!

Okay so we have been super busy since our last post. We had a wonderful birthday party at pump it up, Great Christmas Eve and Day, fun new years, two birthday parties, and we finally upgraded austins room to a toddler room. So we haven't stopped and for those that know me this is nothing new, but I think Corey is about to kill me. Anyways it has all been FUN and we are looking forward to everything 2010 holds for us. ( Hopefully a new addition to our family and a bigger house ) Anyways I decided to just post tons of pics to cover the last few weeks hope u enjoy!!

Can't believe my sweet baby is TWO!!! Happy Birthday Austin!

SO we decided last year we will take austin to see the lights at Canton every year on his real Birthday... here we are the night of his birthday for the second year!!!

July 2008: Having fun in his very own frog pool in the back yard! He loved this little pool but is to big for it now, he sat it in this summer and looked and we like okay what now I can't move around!!

June 2008: First time at the outdoor pool.... and oh how everyone hated that hat except mommy and Gigi!

May 2008: At Maley's Swim School when he was four and a half months old and now we just finished Water Babies Three. He is getting better and better and has no fear of the water!

April 2008: Enjoying a little tummy time!! Oh how we couldn't wait for him to be mobile and now we long for him to sit still. =)

MARCH 2008: My Sweet Baby!

FEBRUARY 2008: This sweet picture was taken in February, it was the morning of his Baptism. So sweet!

JANUARY 2008: This was taken at the very beginning of January before we went for his first check up at 2 weeks. He had just finished eating so that he would cooperate for his visit!

DECEMBER 2008: My Sweet Baby at one day old... oh how I wish I good go back to those first few hours and take it all in again. Who new this would be the greatest day of my life!

Since Austin is turning two saturday I decided I would do some posts this week to reflect the last two years in photos, so here it goes. I am posting one pic from each month over the past two years over the next couple of days. It is amazing how much he has grown. Two Years Ago

Well it is so hard to believe my sweet baby boy is turning two next week. Oh how time flies. Above is a picture of the day he sat up all by himself at a few days shy of 5 months. I quickly remember thinking I would always remember that day but as these past two years have flown by I think of how with so many memories and firsts it is hard to keep up. As hard as it is to think of him growing up it is more exciting to see who this sweet child will become. Over the past two years I have learned so much about him. He is quiet in public but in the comfort of his own home and familiar people he chatters away in his own little vocabulary, he is strong willed and at times stubbborn but also shows love and affection at the time when it is needed or wanted most, his smile can light up the room and though not always plastered across his face he has his own little way of letting us know he is happy (his hands), he is most happy when mommy daddy and austin are all at home simply playing hide and seek or chase, his laughter is the sweetest sound on the earth and the one sound I truly could not live without ever hearing again, he is BUSY just like his momma and we rarely sit still, he gets so proud of himself when he accomlishes something no matter how big or small (a trait I hope he never loses), he knows he is loved the one thing I want him most to understand and I really could go on and on but will stop here. When I first found out I was pregnant I was so scared of what kind of mom I would be and would I be able to give up "my life" but now in these two short years I have learned i love being a mom more than anything in this world and I didn't have to give up anything but yet I GAINED more than words could ever express. And although these past two years have gone by so incredibly fast and I feel as if I have so much to remember and take in, I so look forward to all there is to come. Happy Almost Birthday Austin!! Mommy loves you more than words could ever express and Thank you for the past two years you have made every day a day to remember and cherish!

Thanksgiving 2009 has come and gone and we had a great day with family. We went to Corey's for lunch and then headed to my parents late that afternoon and stayed for dinner. It was great to visit with family and of course EAT and Eat and eat!!! At Coreys parents his dads hunting beagle had puppies and we got them out to let austin play with them. One took to him immediately and they had a great time running around. We think the puppy actually wore him out. Anyways Corey wants to get him his own puppy soon and I have been objecting but seeing how much he loved the puppy I might be changing my mind. We also celebrated my brothers big 30 at my parents!! We had a great time with Jan and Uncle T and all my family!!! Can't believe it is almost Christmas. This year has flown by, my baby will be two toooo soon!!!

Our Crooked House!!

Well it's finally here. Corey and his dad finished the crooked house last week so we went ahead and put it in the back yard for austin to play! It is for his birthday but the weather has been so great to play outside. I only lack some of the baseball decorative details but it is otherwise finished. Austin loves it and yesterday I put a table and chair set in it that is his size so he can play in there at his table. It is too cute. I am very proud of corey. It turned out great and it will be something our children can enjoy forever! It might just be where austin sleeps some nights when he becomes a teenager! ha ha just kidding :) Hope you enjoy the pics!

Well I haven't been to good here lately with my blogging but things get pretty busy with a toddler. We haven't been up to much just getting ready for the holidays. We also had some pics taken of Austin this month with Mary Moment Photography and she did a great job!!! I couldn't pic between them so I basically ordered one of each. Anyways tomorrow is thanksgiving so I thought I would post 20 things I am thankful for so here goes!

20. My friends.... I have been blessed with one of the most amazing group of friends in the world old and new. It doesn't matter how often we talk or see each other I know they are always there. We have had such great memories together and make more each year. I love u girls!!! You are the greatest!!!

19. My Job.. yes I said it but I have a job that makes a difference. I have the opportunity to care for other peoples children in such a time of need. The gratitude these families feel and express make goingto work everyday so worth it. Also when you see a child walk back in our unit to thank you and you never thought you would see them make it through the day it reminds you that your job really means something!

18. The "girls" at nursery :)... those of you that know me know I am an exercise nut and because of the wonderful ladies at the courthouse whom austin loves, I get my "me" time in everyday while austin terrorizes the nuresery. Everyone knows I am much happier after a good sweat session on my elliptical!

17. My house... Corey and I built this house together 3 years ago. We have grown together in this house, decorated this house, had our first baby in this house, and just lived and laughed alot in these walls. I am so proud of all we accomplished in three short years of marriage. It is a part of our lives and will always be our "first home together"!

16. Silly but true..... reality TV... I know but sometimes after a bad day at work or just a long day we will sit down and just laugh or smile. You dont have to think or concentrate u can just get a small glimpse into the lives of others and all from the comfort of your own home!

15. My health... I like to think of myself as a rather healthy person xcept my constant battle with allergies :)

14. My work schedule... Thanks to my job and my husband I have been able to practically be a stay at home mom with austin during these wonderful first two years. I have been the one to see all his firsts, to dry most of his tears, to teach him new things, and just to be his best friend. This has been so important to me b/c I know life is only going to get busier and being able to have this time has meant the worl to me!

13. Another silly one.... Brusters Ice Cream... Love it and it makes me smile!

12. Happiness.... kinda obvious but I am so happy with where I am in my life at this time. I am proud of what I have accomplished. I have no regrets. I am content with where things are going. Seems silly but I know so many people that just dont seem truly happy with their lives.

11. Cold Weather... kinda silly but after many months of horribly hot days it is nice for cooler weather and the holidays. I love wearing sweaters and comfy clothes curled up by the fire!! But ask me in a few months and I will be thankful for the end of cold weather.

10. My Faith.... I am so thankful that I was raised to know Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. He has given me all there is to be thankful for. I was taught to have faith and know God and that has such an impact on my life. I don'[t know where any of us would be without God first in our lives!

9. My ICU co workers.... In a job that produces such stress it is nice to have a group that you can laugh with, cry with, and just understands what is going on. We have such an amazing group that believes in TEAMWORK. It is b/c of this wonderful group that we are able to do our jobs and smile most of time while doing.

8. Computers... b/c it makes it so easy to keep in touch with all our loved ones!!!

7. Pictures... So much has happened over the past few years from my wedding, house, first child, friends weddings, friends children, etc. that it is hard to remeber every little detail. Pictures have made it possible for me to go back to these times and remember everyting. As austin grows each year this becomes so important to me!

6. My Family.... what can I say they are such a huge part of who I am. We have a great time together and are always there for each other. They are the greatest!!

5. My brother..... my one true best friend for the past 28 years. I know he is always there for me and I want nothing more than true happiness for him. He has been a great brother!!! He actually drove to Greenwood from Starkville at 3 am to pick me up from the worst blind date of my life!!! He also was the best wedding singer in the world!!! LOve Ya TY

4. My Dad..... he has shown me so much about what I want in life. He has taught me about hard work and responsibility but also about love. He has always been there for me and would do anything in this world for his children. He has been a wonderful dad and is now the greatest Papa Lou ever. I truly believe he was put here to be a grandpa. There is nothing like watching your parents play with your child knowing that is how much fun they had with you so many years ago! I LOVE U DAD!!!!

3. My mom.... my best friend ever. I love my mom in a way I can't really explain. It is amazing all you have to go through to get to this point in your life where it aches to ever think of going on a day without your parents. I can't imagine not having my mom there to talk to. She is there for advice or just to listen. I don't know where I would be without my mom and i dont even want to imagine. I love my mom more than words can express and I thank God for every chance I get to spend with her :)

2. My husband..... to the most patient and forgiving man ever. Those that know me know I am a "tad" bit OCD. I clean everyday, things have to be just so, I must get my workout in, and if anything deviates from my plan I go a little nutty. Corey has put up with me for 8 years now. He has loved me unconditionally and really helped me stay calm through every day life. He has become a wonderful father who wants nothing more than to provide for me austin. I love u hubby and appreciate all u do for our family!

1. My child..... I never could have imagined that being a mommy could be the greatest accomplishment of ones life. I am so thankful that God chose me to be austin's mom. Words cannot express my grattitude. I have loved every minute and can't wait to see what all the future holds for him. He is such a blessing and cherish every minute I have with him. I want him to know always how much he is loved and how proud I am to be his mom. I am so thankful for this experience of motherhood and believe that there is no greater love than that of child. I have learned so much from being a mother. I love austin with all my heart and am thankful for each day god has given me to be his mom!!

Little Slugger

Well Halloween has and come and gone and as expected Austin had a great time. It is amazing the difference from last year to this year and I can only imagine it is going to keep getting better. Austin caught on to the trick or treating really fast and had a great time Sat night. We first went to the Flowood Festival but it was way to crowded and way to muddy so we headed back to the house for some trick or treating with his buddy Hayes. They made it til eight thirty and then austin came in and passed out on the floor. He has brought so much joy to our families and it is so much fun expereincing all these holidays as parents. Some days I wonder what I did before I had austin, becuase this is truly the best time of my LIFE!!!! Above is a picture at the FArmers Market picking out a pumpkin. We tried to go to the pumpkin patch several times but b/c of weather never got to go so we snapped a few pictures with the pumpkins there. I think a few people thought I was crazy! Oh well!

While we carved the pumpkins we let the boys paint there own. Austin did such a good job and Hayes did too but he thought the paint was better suited for eating. It was too funny!

When you can't find what you want make your own and so we did and it turned out great. He even has on real T-Ball pants rolled up like three times b/c they were so big! He knows they are his "baseball clothes" we have discovered we can get him to where anything if we call it baseball clothes like hats and gloves!!!

Okay so Austin is also obsessed with Blues Clues. He can hum and sing the theme song. He loves it and if he sees a pawprint he screams Blue Clue. So I decided to carve our pumpkin with a huge pawprint in honor of blues clues! He loved it!

Yogi Bear Park 2009

This past weekend we took austin to Yogi Bear Park with his buddy zachary and his family. We had a great time. We camped in a cozy little cabin and the park had activites for the kids all weekend. Friday night we did a hay ride tour of the park and had the option of an outdoor movie but it was ghostbusters and we weren't sure it would quite keep their attention plus it was chilly. Sat. morning we met yogi at the flag pole to kick off the day. We enjoyed crafts in the clubhouse all day, putt putt golf, playing on the playground, and that night they had a halloween carnival and trick or treating for the kids. It was a really good time and they boys were all smiles most of the time. So we can't wait to go back. We are already planning a spring/summer trip when it warms up b/c they have a great splash pad and boats and water activities.Friday night we got the "tuck in" service where yogi comes to your cabin and visits for a few minutes and brings the kids milk and cookies. There faces were too cute. They gave Yogi some good high fives but weren't too sure about hugging yet!

Okay so one on the perks of our cbains was a remote control "fireplace" (for looks only). The boys would blow at the fireplace and corey or brett would turn it off and they would think they blew it out. This had them entertained for a while. Sat. night we decided it probably wasn't a good idea when we were waiting for the haunted trail in front of a huge REAL bonfire and they were trying to blow it out!

Fair 2009

Well another Fair has come and gone and as expected austin LOVED it, all three times. Corey and I took him one night and then we went with grandparents the other two times. Each year is more and more fun and exciting as he gets to do more. This year he could ride a few rides all by himself and many others with corey and I. His absolute favorite was the BIG yellow slide. This child has no FEAR at all. Anyways he loved it all three times. We can't wait for next year. He brings so much fun and joy to our lives and we are loving every minute of it. It just goes by two fast. I can't believe my baby is almost TWO!! Above is austin having a serious conversation with a greedy goat!

Sneak Peek

Just a sneak peek of Austin's Halloween costume for Gigi and Papa. He is absolutely OBSESSED with baseball and since their are no baseball player costumes in his size we had to make our own so here is our work in progress. We are going to Jellystone Park next weekend to "camp" out (air conditioning, full bathroom, and satellite TV involved). There is supposed to be a full weekend of Halloween activities so we are getting are costume all ready before we go. Anyways I am sure there will be many more pictures to follow!

Bored at Home

Okay so weather has been pretty cruddy around here and when you are home all day with a toddler you have to get creative. So what does mommy do....turn the den into a campsite with our very own tent!!!!
Checking out the roof.... which we even got so creative as to put stars that glow on the roof . He also has a machine that projects images on the ceiling and we put them on the roof of the tent!!!
He had so much fun he even dragged his pillow out at nap time and slept in the tent!

Future Bulldog

Okay so a few weekends ago Corey and I took Austin to his first MSU football game with my parents. The weather didn't cooperate at first but things improved early in the first quarter. So anyone who knows our child knows he is obsessed with sports, so as expected he did great! Also it was the first time Corey and I have been back to starkvegas together since we graduated!! It was a great game against LSU and we only lost by inches!!! Oh well they played good. Above is a picture of us winning in the first quarter - I took it just in case it got ugly- I wanted proof we were beating LSU at one point =). Again thanks Gigi & Papa we had a great time!!

Beach Trip 2009

Well this past weekend we finally made it to the beach!!! We went with my parents for a trip to gulf shores. We had a wonderful time. Austin had a blast, I can't wait for our trip next year already. He is definitely a beach baby =) Anyways it was a great time with my family. I only wish my brother could be there....but maybe next year. Anyways we went to the beach, swan shopped, played put put, go carts, and ATE!!!! It was a much needed vacay for all of us. Thank you so much Gigi and Papa for everything. I only hope one day I can do for Austin what ya'll have done for us. We Love Ya'll so much. Anyways I have posted lots of pictures but I think they start from the end of the trip to the beginning oh well hope you enjoy =)!! Above is our group shot the last night at dinner. Everyone ended up with a good tan!

My absolute favorite picture... I love this little man more than words could ever express and just to be able to see him experience all these things and see his excitement makes every day even that much more worth living. He is my world, my future, and all my love. I am so blessed to be his mommy!

Awake at 2am when we got there b/c a "nice" cop woke him up when he pulled us over and gave us our ticket at midnight. When we got to the condo at 1am, he was so shocked to see Gigi and papa and then to be in a new place we almost never got him back to sleep. But beleive it or not he was in a good mood the entire time even though his sleep schedule was off a "little".

On our way at like 11:30. This is how we should have made it the whole way but no the "nice" cop thought otherwise. Such a great way to start vacay.... but other than that everything was PERFECT!!! Can't wait for Beach Trip 2010!!

Jellystone Splash Pad

Today we decided to take advantage of the pretty weather and we took austin to the jellystone splash pad. So much fun! He had a great time and even rode down the big water slide all by himself. He was so proud. We are trying to get all our things in we wanted to do this smmer since we are running out of weekends before the summer is over. Anyways hope you enjoy the pics and it is so worth the short drive out there!!

All the fun stuff to do! There is also a swimming pool, lake, putt putt, and playgroung area. We are going to spend the weekend there in a cabin in October. It will be his first camping experience! But with air condition and TV (my kind of camping)

Elmo LIVE

Last night we took austin to see Sesame Street Live at the Colliseum and it was Great! We were front and center on the first row and Austin watched the whole thing. His face was priceless when they came out for the first time. It was great family fun and he was so good we will definitely be getting ticket if anything else comes in town. Here are some pictures from the night!

Growing uo TOO Fast

Well all I can say is they really do grow up too fast. Austin went for his 18 month check up ( a month and a half late) but anyways we are 50% height and 50% weight, healthy and done with shots for a while. Yeah!! He is getting bigger everyday, saying more and more words and LOVES BASEBALL. He only wants to play with his baseball toys. We decided to do his big boy room in sports and got some cute stuff for it this weekend. He got so excited and just kept yelling baseball!! Anyways he also recently got his 5th haircut (only secod at a real haircut salon) and they did a great job especially since he was not very cooperative. I wanted to get some pics but literally we were holding him down and the camera idea went out the window!! Anyways we are all good enjoying this phase (except the tantrums). Easily Amused

Okay so I have discovered this place in Ridgeland where you can go drink wine and paint. I love it. It is called Easily Amused and it is a fun outing that I conned my mom and husband into going to and they loved it. My mom and I painted the cross you see above and they went step by step over how to paint it. It was great. Corey and I went with some frinds of ours to date night and got to do Picasso style portraits of each other. It was so funny and the gys were great sports. Here are some pics from my nights there, I am sure there will be many other nghts!

Well I am home sick today with strep throat and am laying in bed something I don't do well so I decided to post a few pics from the past week. Austin's newest nontoy obsession is the water hose. He thinks it is hilarious to get water on you. So now when we are outside he runs up the water bill quite well and gives our entire driveway a good wash down. Oh well he loves it. We also went to the Natural Science Musuem for the Monsters Under the Sea exhibit with his bud Hayes and his mom. We had a great time!! Hope you enjoy. Seeing pic of him always makes me smile =).

Summer Fun at the Splash Pad

So today we went to Shiloh Park Splash pad and had a great time. It is perfect fun for this age and younger. It is a basketball court size slab of concrete with water spraying toys everywhere. Austin and Hayes made it 2 hours and probably would have gone longer if daddy didn't have to leave. Anyways it was so much fun and we will be getting a season pass! Here are a few pictures of ther fun and tonight we are headed to the new Chuck e Cheeses!! Life is so much fun with a toddler!!

Okay so at the Braves game I realized how fast the past year had gone by!! We took austin to his first braves game on the 4th of July last year and he did great. Now a year later here he is showing me how a big boy eats his own hot dog!! Oh the time goes by WAY TOO FAST!!!

Well continuing our fourth of july weekend fun we went to the pool sat morning and made it through to lunch. We then headed home and hoped austin would get a good nap in prior to the Braves game that afternoon (he did). Anyways the game was great, the Braves won, and once again the boys made it to the end to watch the fireworks at 10:30pm what troopers!! It was a great time and we were all pooped. So austin slept til 9 am sunday morning which is unheard of around our house. We then took him on his first boat ride out to flag island to meet up with his buddy zach. He loved the rife, loved flag island, HATED the life jacket. Oh well safety first! We headed home after lunch for naptime which he deided not to take and then that afternoon went to gigi and papa's for some BBQ. Corey and I decided to sneak off to a movie since he was in good hands. I think we are all still recovering from the weekend and Austin has been sleeping well after his usual 7 am wake up. So another great 4th of Juky weekend!! Here are a few pics of the fun!!

Well this weekend we have alot of fun things planned and it all kicked off tonight with the Balloonfest at Ridgeland. Austin did great! They were jumps and slides for the kids as well as music and food an fireworks. Ausitn had a good time and passed out quickly in the car ride home. We also ran into his buddy Hayes while we were there. So round one was a success, and we'll have to see how round 2 (fourth of july pool party) and round 3 (Braves game) go!!!

Well I am officially a part time employee which means more time at home with austin. I am so excited to get another day a week for our fun adventures. I never imagined I would love being a mommy and a wife this much. I actually just love doing the day to day mommy things, planning a daily adventure with austin, and getting supper ready and eating as a family. It is funny how much I enjoy the simple things. Now the tough part is to control my spending habits but I think we are done with our major expenses. We have recently laid hard wood, getting our kitchen cabinets redone and landscaped the back yard. So since we are not moving I get to work less!! Works for me. Anyways we have been doing lots of fun things this summer like pool, Braves Games, Swimming lessons, birthday parties, and fun with friends. Summer is a fun time with an 18 month old we just wish it wasn't so HOT!!! Anyways hope everyone is having a good summer and here are some pictures from the past week!

Not sure what austin is doing but my guess is he is whining about something not going his way. He and zach got to go to gattittown after swimming lessons last week b/c they are doing so good. They go under water and "swim" like pros!

Austin not digging all the pink at Maddi's first birthday party at Harry the Potter. Austin tried to paint but since his attention span is about 20 seconds around mad chaos it got about three strokes. Oh well it will be his first masterpiece.

Too funny!! Austin decided to rock out in the den the other night. It was too funny b/c he was trying to keep us entertaained to prevent going to bed. It actually worked for about 30 minutes.

Zach and Austin intently watching the Braves game. They did great! They made it all the way to the end and even trooped through to the fireworks that started at like 10:15!! Such troopers! Also did I mention it was quite hot but it didn't phase those two!

And finally my baby is growing up. We go to pump it up some and they have these huge slides and last time austin went up "by himself" for the first time, but I was right behind him. At the Braves game mommy's don't get to go up so he and zach went all by themselves. I actually thought I might cry! Anyways they made it up most the way and then too sweet little boys went and helped them up. His face comig down was priceless but I was so excited for him I didn't get it on camera!! Oh they grow up to fast!

This weekend we took austin toplay putt putt for the first time. He rode the go carts and also played some games. It was just so gorgeous friday that we thought a fun outdoor activity would be great. We a nice time and I think he enjoyed it. We also took him to the pool sunday and after two hours we basically had to drag him out kicking and screaming. But anyways it was a great weekend and we are enjoying our summer so far!! Hope everyone is too!

So Uncle T did the triathalon here in ridgeland this weekend. A 1/2 mile swim, 2o something mile bike and 6.2 mile run- yes all in the same day let alone in like 2 hours. GO UNCLE T!!! So I went and cheered him on saturday morning. He did great and mommy thinks she is gonna do it one year!! We'll see the run she and bike she is okay with but not the swim and not all right after each other!! But oh well we had a great time and uncle T helped babysit me after while mommy and daddy had couples massages and a good dinner at Ticos for their 3 year anniversary! Oh and check out my shirt it says Go Uncle T mommy made it!

A few weeks ago corey's brother and his family came in from atlanta. They have 2 children Riley is 7 or 8 and maddox is one week behind austin. Austin took to Riley immediately so corey and I took them to a Braves game on saturday and then bowling on sunday! They had a great time and wore each other out as much as corey and I. Mother's Day

So another Mother's Day has come and went and it was wonderful. Yes it is nice to have a day where the whole world appreciates all you do as a mom, but for me mother's day is every day. Every time austin smiles at me, reaches for me, pats on me, or simply looks around a room to find me I know I am appreciated. I have forever made a mark in his tiny heart and he unknowingly shows it everyday. Being a mother teaches you so much about who you are and what you are made of. It has shown me how selfless I can be, how humbled I have become, how blessed the Lord has made me, and how thankful I am for each single day. I am in love with every moment i get to spend with him. I have been blessed to practically be a stay at home and have been able to be there for every milestone. I cherish every day I get with him and have been shown love like nothing I have imagined in the last 16 months. I am also so thankful for my own mother who has made me the woman and mom I am today. She held my hand when I found out I was expecting, helped me plan and prepare for all that was to come, supported me throught the past 16 months and loved me unconditionally for the past 27 years. She is my best friend in the world and I love her so much. Too all the moms and moms to be happy mothers day today and everyday you are truly appreciated.

All the guys at my house after swimmy school enjoying pizza. Hats off to Hayes who ate a whole piece of pizza with only 4 teeth. We are all such big boys!

Well we have been busy since our last post. Last week I started Maley's swim school with my buddies Zach and Hayes. Mommy also took me friday and got ALL my hair cut off. Since I was sweating from all the hair evertime we went outside she decided it was time. After about thirty minutes and much assistance from the other people in the place, I had a new sleek do that makes me look older and more mature =). Then this weekend we went to mommy's mamaw house and saw uncle T too. We had lots of fun and I gave mommy lots of sugar for mother's day! Sweet daddy gave her a new camera that is great it has some neat features and is already being put to good use. Every 5 seconds I see a flash! Monday was storytime and lots of errands b/c mommy and daddy are flying to detroit thurs for aunt sara's wedding and I am staying with gigi and papa. And finally today we had another day of swim school and afterwards zach and hayes came over for pizza and playing. What a life! Mommy is so lucky she is off for 8 more days b/c I think she is gonna need some rest soon!

1st Zoo Trip

Well finally after 16 months they took me to this zoo they keep talking about. It was a lot of fun and I had a great time. It was a little warm outside but i was a great sport. We saw lots of animals and my favorite was the elephants. We rode the train too. I can't wait to go back. I think mommy and daddy had a good time also. We also went to the Braves game friday night to see the fireworks I made it all the way to the end of the show at like 10 pm, man I am a good kid. Anyways they sure do keep me busy. I don't know what we are gonna do next weekend. Mommy being off work so much is really getting exhausting I think we need to just rest one day!!

Today we went to Zach's for a play date and had a great time. He has lots of fun outside toys but best of all was his jeep. Mommy let zach drive me all around and I loved it. I couldn't reach the pedal or I would have ngiven driving a try. We all had a great time and I slept a good three hours when we got home. Mommy is so excited we can play outside all the time b/c it wears me out.

What a morning and it all happened in under 2 hours!

Well I got new ears today. After issues with fluid in my ears over the past two months and visit with ENT doctor yesterday we decided on tubes. Not gonna go into all the details but it was more traumatic for mommy than me. I am home now asleep and doing good. (how am i asleep and posting at the same time?) Anyways we are so thankful this was a quick easy process once we got going and now supposedly I am gonna be able to hear and talk better. We'll see. Thabks Gigi and Papa for being there I love you!!

A few weeks ago at a wedding the preacher was talking about God's love for us and how he gave his only son to die on the cross for our sins. The preacher made a comment about how he had a son and can't imagine a love so great that he would give his son's life to save another. This really hit home with me and once again as Easter came and went it really made me think. God's love for us is that great and so great that at times it almost seems too great to imagine. He gave his only son for us so that we can have eternal life. As I sit and watch Austin sleep I can't imagine the sacrifice he made. Austin is my world and brings me so much joy each day that I can't and don't want to imagine losing him. It is because of God's grace that I am able to have all these wonderful experiences with him and my family. I sit here humbled by the grace of god and rejoice in the rising of jesus christ his only son. I am so thankful for so many things this Easter but of them probably mostly the experiences I get to have with my son here on earth each day. I am so blessed to be able to stay home with him so much and cherish what each day brings. I thank God for the mere opportunity to be a parent and to know a love so great that it is only understood the moment you first look into your child's eyes.

EAster weekend mommy and daddy. gigi and papa hosted our first annual easter egg hunt. They had about 200 hundred eggs stuffed with candy and toys. Seven of my friends came over and we quickly snatched them up. It was alot of fun and thanks to everyone who came. Can't wait til next year. Any ways as you can see above mommy didn't "hide" them very well.

Well once again mommy has fallen behind on the bloggin. But things around the house have been crazy!! We have had two weddings in a row and then Easter. It has been hard to keep up. Anyways we have been good. I went for my 15 month checkup a week ago and I am growing like a weed. We also found out I had fluid behind my ears again so they are taking me to some ENT doctor (doesn't sound fun) this week. But other than that I am great. We start Maley's swim school in two weeks with my buds zach and Hayes. The weather is great and my sweet mommy spends alot of time outside with me. We have tried everypark in the area. Anyways here are some pics from all the fun. Above is me eating some cookies at mamaw's, we went for yet another wedding was in.

Sunday Fun

Sunday mommy and daddy took me to the Natural Science Museum. It was our first time to go and I had a great time. I terrorized some fish and snakes. Ran around like a heathen. Played in the toddler room. And touched absolutley everything in the gift shop. I even pitched one ugly fit when they tried to get me back in the car. Anyways all in all it was a good trip. I wonder what other things are out there that they are hiding from me? Here are somne pics from the fun!!

What a Day!!!

On Monday mommy basically tried to get me to the point of complete exhaustion. It all started at 8am when we headed to the courthouse for an hour of nusery (mommy working out and me terrorizing the kids club upsatirs) then we ran home mommy changed and out the door we went to storytime at 1015am. Above is me at storytime looking at mommy like she has lost her mind if she thinks I am gonna shake my egg like the song says.

Alos here I am actually sitting and listening to the story. I usually choose to explore / climb while all the other kids are sitting but today I decided to join them and see what all the hype was about. Anyways it was actually a pretty good book and mommy was proud I sat still til almost the last page.

Then if nursery and storytime weren't enough we had a playdate at the park with Zachary. It was cloudy at first and then out came the sun and we had a great time.

Zachary's smart mommy packed sand toys and though we didn't so much play with them together, we didn't fight over them either. It was a very fun day and I think I wore mommy out just as bad as I was.

So here we come to the end. Two red cheeked (the sun actually came out the whole time we were there) and overly tire little boys. I slept like a baby (but i am a big boy)!! Hope zach had a great time too!!

A note from mommy..

Well I had a not so good day at work and just wanted to thank God that I have this amazing blessing to come home to everyday. He is the joy in my heart as soon as I open my eyes in the morning, and the smile on my face when I close them at night. He has brought more to my life than words can express and I look forward to what each day brings. Just wanted to say thank you God for this wonderful blessing. And to all the Mommy's out there and mommy's to be. Hold your babies tight, tell them you love them, show them you love them, and thank God everyday for the blessing you have been given. For I unfortunately have seen far to often how quickly it can be taken away.

Austin's First Snow

A few weeks ago my mommy and papa lou took me to Nashville to see some of my papa's family. It was a great trip and mommy got to visit with aunt Karla. Anyways I was suych a good sport, and went with the flow. It did though happen to be the one week it decided to snow over 12 inches in TN, which made for a long drive home ( = 9.5 hours). Papa Lou got us home safe and sound though just like he promised. Anyways here are a few pictures. Above is me showing Aunt Dot ( papa's aunt) how to use somethinh she had sitting in a basket by her chair.

Here is me and uncle danny (papa's brother) checkin out my cuzin Tommy's police car. I got to turn on the lights and the sirens. Mommy said that better be the only time I am in a police car.

And here is the snow. This is one of the thirty or so cars we saw covered in it along the highway. We stopped at a gas station once and mommy fell outside b/c of all the ice. She wouldn't let me play in it though. It was 29 degrees so they wouldn't let me out of the car.

And me getting awfully restless. Mommy was snapping photos but it was getting me a little mad. I took a nap hoping to pass the time but when I woke up 2 hours later we had only one like 30 miles. Don't understand, but it was making mommy quite ansy!!!

Well this weekend I got to go to my buddy Zachary's 2nd birthday party. It was so fun. Mommy had to work but the sweet people she works with let her leave for three hours so she could go. Supposedly if you are anurse it is really hard to get to leave and come back. But anyways I am so glad she got to go. daddy went to and we had a great time. Above is me eating cake. Mommy made sure I ate lots of sugar before she left me with daddy and went back towork.

Here we are sitting and eating our lunch. Zach and I sat like 30 sec. but hey it was longer than they thought we would sit.

There was a big slide and zach was brave and went head first. So much fun. They great thing is in the summer you can put water in the bottom. Oh the fun we are gonna have!!!

And finally here is zachary and I in Vicksburg eating. Our mommies dragged us shopping at some outlet mall, but we were so good. Here we are in our own important conversation. I think we were discussing all the fun we were gonna have at the birthday party. Anyways it was so much fun. I am going to NAshville this weekend with mommy and papa Lou so I am sure there will be many pictures to post soon!

Well today is Valentines day and I don't have a clue what it means except I got lots of candy and a mini christmas! (presents!!) Anyways momma keeps dressing me in red and giving me lots of kisses. Oh well nothing new. Also daddy keeps grumbling something about a made up holiday for girls, but he got mommy flowers, and candy, and bath stuff. So he can grumble all he wants because he is such a SUCKER!!! Oh well things have been good at our house, mommy has been off work for over a week and is trying to convince daddy she doesn't need to go back. He got lots of good meals last week, I think she is trying to set him up. I would LOVE mommy to be home all day. I don't think I am quite attached enought to her yet. Hope you enjoy the pictures the above is me climbing on the stove trying to get to the cake. (Great parents aren't they letting me climb on the oven and then encouraging me with pictures!!)

lOVIN MY FIRST SUCKER! I went to a Valentines party at the courthouse and they pumped me full of laffy taffy, pixie sticks, and cookies. The sucker made it home and I loved. Mommygot a little anxious though when I started using it as a paint brush for the walls. I still don't remember where I put it. I think it just disappeared?

Well the weather has been beautiful or at least that is what my parents keep talking about. All I know is I actually get to play outside now. They got out the bubble mower and I went to town. I did such a good job I think I may give daddy a run for his money.

Here I am dragging sissy around by her toy, and I wonder why she moves everytime I get near her. I love my sissy and if she doesn't learn to love me more she is gonna be finding her self sleeping and living outdoors alot more. She is sleeping outside tonight (the first time ever) b/c I was playing with mommy and daddy and siisy got mad so she peed on daddy's side of the bed. It seems like sissy gets more no no's than me.

Just checkin out sissy's digs. Not to shabby but she could use some more decorations and she really should think about some febreeze!!!

I was being such a abig boy and riding the tonka truck at Gattitown a couple of weeks ago. I was quite mad at mommy and daddy when they tried to get me out. They gave in and so I got to ride it over and over and over and.... (you get the idea)

My new play tunnel I got for being sick. My mommy is such a sucker!!!

Well mommy has been quite the bad blogger here lately. We have been kinda busy over the last month and things are starting to slow down. First mommy and daddy put the house up for sale, mommy had a shower for Aunt Karla and a kid friendly superbowl party the next day. Also we have been busy with just the everyday wild and crazy one year old things. Also mommy took me to the doctor this week for my first real real fever (103) and they said I had double ear infections so we started on antibiotics but yesterday I broke out in a rash so daddy took me to the doctor (only b/c mommmy was at work) and surprise both ears are fine. So who knows what is going on!! I feeel great and am ninety to nothing all day long!! Mommy is home for 10 days yeah, I am so excited. Anyways below are just a few pictures from over the weeks. Mommy promises to be better at this posting business.

Last night we found out that aunt Lisa and Uncle Bo are expecting a sweet baby girl in June. I am so excited. Mommy keeps calling her my girlfriend. Anyways Aunt Lisa had a really hard 2008 and mommy is so excited that God has blessed her with a sweet daughter. She is such a sweet person and deserves all the happiness in the world and that is just what a sweet baby girl will bring. We can't wait to meet Princess Luckey. God is so amazing to have blessed them with such a precious gift and we are looking forward to 2009 being filled with laughter and smiles, and a few bittersweet tears. We Love you all Uncle Bo, Aunt Lisa, and Princess Luckey.

One Year Stats!

Well today was my one year check up and I did so good. I am 30 inches tall. I weigh 23lbs. 4 oz. I am in the 75th percentile for height and weight. I am totally off formula. I take only one bottle and that is at night. I am off the binky (pacifier). I have 8 teeth in front and my bottom molars are in (thank goodness). I take one nap in the afternoon. I sleep all night. I walk. I babble. And I am the most precious thing in mommy's world. We had a great report and made it through our first year with only 1 sick visit!!! Yeah we did so GOOD! Anyways I am in good heath, happy, growing, and expoloring. I have learned to point at what I want and I won't quit pointing until I get it. I am learning so many new things it is getting hard for mommy to keep up!

We went to story time today and mommy finally remembered her camera. Me and Hayes were scoping out the book selection. I think HAyes just wanted the bucket but I checked out the books for a good read.

Here we are singing. Mommy picked the wrong pic to download. There was one of me dancing that was quite funny. Oh well this will have to do. I am up front checkin out Ms. June. I love storytime it is the one time I actually run away from mommy!

Just a picture of Austin on Christmas Day in his big boy seat from Gigi and PApa Lou. I love my chair. I use it right now to aod in climbing toreach many items called no-nos though. I don't think mommy is so amused!

Finally me and sissy takin a ride in one of my three vehicles. Yes I said three. I must have been really good this year. Anyways we went for a living room ride and sissy hung her head out the window. Typical dog behavior.

I finally got a new do!!!! They actually cut my hair. Mommy cried and whined but realized when I was trying to pull it out b/c I couldn't see that maybe it was time to cut it!! It all went down in the tub saturday night and mommy did a pretty good job. I can finally see, thank goodness. I know Papa Lou will be excited!!! Anyways I am so proud of mommy this was a big step for her!

What A Year!!

Well 2008 will definitely be one of the most memorable years of my life. We had Austin Dec. 19th, 2007 and so 2008 was our first run at being parents. Oh what a year it was. It has been such a year of learning, changing, growing, and love. Most of these is Love. Austin has shown both Corey and I love like no other. He has brought a permanent smile to both our faces and a happiness that is with us when we wake each morning and close our eyes at night. We have had many firsts this year in 2008; first smile, first crawl, first step, first trip, first of many holidays, first meal (other than baby food), first illness, and many others. These will be moments I will treasure forever. I have also learned how truly great a parents love for their child is and for this I thank my parents. They have been amazing role models and contnue to love and support us more and more each day. The love a parent feels for their child begins with that first look and only grows stronger with each day. I feel so blessed to have had such a wonderful year. Corey, austin, and I have been so blessed. I have basically been able to be a stay at home mom and austin has been able to avoid day care b/c of our families. I have been able to be there for almost every smile, laugh and tear. I am very thankful for all that 2008 has brought. I have learned so much about me as a person. I love being a mommy more than anything in this world and am so excited to see what 2009 holds. I thank my family and friends for all their support this year. I am so excited about all the fun 2009 holds: Aunt Karla's wedding, aunt Missy's wedding. Aunt Sara's wedding and Baby Luckey's arrival. It is going to be a great and busy year here at the Sanders household especially with a toddler. Happy 2009 everyone I hope it brings you as much happiness as 2008 has brought to my family.

My First Birthday!

Here are just a few photos of the birthday spectacular from saturday. Thanks so much to all the family and friends that attended wee enjoyed it so much. It is so hard to believe a year has already come and gone. With about 30 people and six kids in a small space, everything went great.

I made sure there was plenty to play with as you can see. They stayed entertained fro the most part, and some of Austin's toys actually gotplayed with for once. Hr seems to prefer the remote, coasters, and other no-no's than his toys.

Gigi and Papa got him his first car and he loved it. He went for a ride before the party and was all smiles. He has so much fun and has eaned to get in and out all by himself. He also drives with his leg up on the side like I do. It is amazing how muchthey are like little sponges and mimic all that we do.

After he opened all his presents he gave us a smile and clapped. He did so good. A little fussy the first little bit and then he realized all the attention was for him and he spunked up.

And as usual an attempt to get all six kids to look at the camera for a picture. Didn't quiet turn out but oh well priceless anyways. Thanks again to all that came. Merry Christmas everyone.

Well it is official I am ONE!!!! I had a great weekend and I am really tired and so is mommy. Just a few pictures from Friday onmy real birthday but today's party pictures soon to follow. Here is my lovely smash cake experience! I think mommy regretted getting chocolate.

I started off being pretty neat and then mommy smashed my hand in it and it was all over from then on! My brown clothes quickly turned brown!!

We went to canton to see all the christmas lights and me and mommy road the carousel. What a birthday!! I guess christmas and birthday close aren't gonna be such a bad thing b/c there is so much to do and see.

My birthday cinnamon roll on friday morning. I was wearing my cute birthday candle hat but it made me cry and they said no crying on my birthday so they toook it off. I really like this birthday thing b/c I got my way all day long!!!!!

Christmas Parties..

Sat. night I got to go with Mommy and daddy to her work christmas party and I had fun. We left around 9 which is an hour late for my bedtime. I went fast to sleep in the car, but woke up when we got home and refused to sleep. I was wired until midnight. Yes midnight. They even bribed me with a bottle but I just walked around sipping on it for like an hour. Anyways after about 11 mommy just started laughing and pulled out the camera. He are two pictured.

I was so delerious I even let them put a santa hat on me. Wow it was a good night. I think I am gonna like this christmas party thing. I am having my own saturday for this birthday they keep talking about. I can't wait.

Christmas at the Ag Museum

This past weekend mommy and daddy and two of my friends and their parents went to the Ag museum christmas. We saw lots of lights, a pettting zoo, trains, carousels, and that darn santa man again. As usual I was not excited to sit in his lap. Anyways it was a fun time but a little cold.

They had an area that was just my height and I thought I should be able to play in the display but mommy and daddy wouldn't let me. They can be real party poopers some days.

Well they thought they could get three of us under the age of 2 to look at the camera at the same time. It didn't happen but some people got a good laugh at them all whistling and making noises trying to get us to look up.

This is my buddy Hayes and his mommy Randa. We were looking at the trains inside trying to warm up. Please excuse the mean hats our mommies put on us.

And finally the picture proof that I am not a fan of Santa this year. This is my fourth santa picture and the reaction is the same every time. Mommy is gonna learn to quit trying to give me to the man in the red suit. She even let me keep the bell in my mouth hoping that would keep me happy for at least one second.

A thought from Mommy...

It is so hard to believe my little man is turning one next week. It seems like only weeks ago I brought him home from the hospital. It all flew by so fast. I went from holding a newborn to chasing a walking, "talking" toddler. This year has been so full of wonderful firsts and memories that we will talk about and cherish the rest of our lives. We have learned so much about ourselves, each other, and being a parent. We feel so lucky that God chose us to watch over Austin here and be apart of our lives. He truly is a great blessing and we cherish everyday with him. I am looking forward to all the memories to come as we progress to a toddler. I want to thank all the friends and family who have shared this wonderful first year with us. Gigi and Papa thank you for everything I love you so much and so does Austin. Without ya'll I probably would have lost my sanity sometime this year. All the advice and withheld advice is greatly appreciated. We love everyone so much and can't wait to celebrate Austin's first birthday.
It is hard to believe this 7 lb. 5 oz. baby turned into a 22lb. 8 oz. liitle boy!!!!

Almost One..

Well Mommy keeps talking about this birthday coming up and how she can't believe I am almost a toddler. I thought I was an Austin or maybe a No No but I am not so sure about this toddler thing. Anyways things have been pretty busy getting ready for christmas and this birthday thing. We shop all the time and mommy keeps making me take my picture with some strange man in a red suit. I scream at him but she keeps trying, God bless her. Mommy loves Christmas and she even has put me in clothes that border on the "not so boyish" (see above picture) oh well it makes her smile. I hope everyone is having a good holiday season and here are a pictures of what we have been up to.

Thanksgiving was great. I slept throught one dinner but was very into the food at Gigi's and Papa's. I ate like a pig. The morning after thanksgiving I woke up with my second fever in my 11 months. I was sick all weekend but you would have never kown it. I was walking and talkin all over Gigi's. Mommy took me to the doctor monday and I had two ear infections and RSV. YUCK!!! But I am all better now.

The day mommy found out I was sick and I was still playing peek a boo. I am a tough little cookie!!!

Okay this hat is just mean. I went shopping with mommy and one of her friends a couple of weekends ago and mommy said I was Bad to the Bone. I literally almost jumped out of the stroller. Anyways she bought me two horrible hats and I think this is what they call punishment!

And finally today we had a playdate at our house with three of my buddies. Sorry Hayes (not pictured) but mommy downloaded the wrong picture. We all played, not necessarily together. But we all played hard!! I took a three hour nap after. I think mommy like the play date more than me.

Today one of mommy's bestest friends and my favorite aunt came over to try and get a cute picture for my birthday invites. She got some great pics and mommy was so excited b/c as usual I wasn't so cooperative. I have to make things interesting. I have been a pretty big challenge this weekend while daddy was at deer camp. First I let mommy and everyone else at northpark and theRenaissance know that I wasn't into shopping on saturday, and this morning papa lou had to take me to the cry room at church. I am just testing the waters with dada gone. Anyways mommy is so glad he is back. Also other big news I AM OFFICIALLY A WALKER!!! Last night I walked down the hall once but tonight I went back and forth in the den so many times I got dizzy!! Anyways hope you enjoys the pics. Also note the cruel hat and gloves mommy bought me sat., I guess since I was being SO bad they are my punishment. Oh well!
